Sports : Kenyans wins more gold in Japan

Kenya's Brimin Kiprop Kipruto celebrates as he crosses the finish line to win the gold medal in the men's 3,000m Steeplechase final at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka, Japan, on Tuesday.
Kenya has bagged four more medals at the world athletics championships in Osaka, Japan.

In a superb display of front-running, Janeth Jepkosgei led from start to finish to claim the 800 meters title in one minute 56.04 seconds.

Jepkosgei won in 1 minute, 56.04 seconds, with Morocco's Hasna Benhassi getting silver in 1:56.99 and Spain's Mayte Martinez third in 1:57.62

Sports : Kenya Wins First Ever Swimming Gold Medal in All Africa Games

Swimming sensation Jason Dunford struck the first gold for the country as the swimming event got under way in Algeria.
The African champion clocked 53.40 seconds to win gold in the 100m butterfly on Thursday.

Dunford qualified for the final in style by breaking the Games record of 54.66 that was set in 1999 when he won his heat in a new time of 53.16.
